Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of electrical and fire safety systems, particularly fire alarm and emergency systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and control panels
• Inspect and service emergency lighting systems and backup power units
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in fire safety equipment and related systems
• Carry out preventive maintenance on fire detection and suppression systems
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Read and interpret electrical and fire system drawings and schematics
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
• Work closely with engineers and safety officers on project installations

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or NVTI Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2–3 years practical experience in electrical or fire safety systems
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems, control panels, and emergency lighting systems
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits and systems
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Valid driver’s license is an advantage
